Jig is our foundation bitch and our first champion WSS. She is from Highclare and Ferndel lines. We are very fortunate to have such a well bred bitch to start our line of Bushwacker WSS. At Crufts 2006 her mum (Sh Ch Highclare Queens Logic) won the bitch Challenge Certificate and her dad (Sh Ch Ferndel Maverick) won the dog Challenge Certificate and Best of Breed. He then went on to win the gundog group. Her mum finished up top WSS 2006.
Jig has met with considerable success in the show ring. Her many wins include BPIS at the SEWSSC open show as well as many 1st places at championship shows and Best of Breed and group placings at Open Show level. She was also Newark and Notts Match Dog of the Year in 2005 and won every match she attended there whilst, training for the show ring!
In 2008 she was Best in Challenge at a match between the Welsh Springer Spaniel Club, The South Eastern Welsh Springer Spaniel Club and the Welsh Springer Spaniel Club of South Wales.

Jig won her first CC and Best of Breed / Best in Show at the 2007 Welsh Springer Spaniel Club show from an entry of 204 WSS. Her second in 2008 at Midland Counties Championship Show. Her crowning CC, which made her a Show Champion, was won at West of England Ladies Kennel Association in April 2009. Jig also has 4 Reserve Challenge Certificates at Bournemouth and Belfast Championship shows in 2006 and at Driffield and East of England Championship shows in 2008.
In January 2007 she whelped a super litter of 5 bitches and 2 dogs by Sh Ch Ferndel Certain Style, who was top WSS puppy in 2006. You can follow the progress of Jig's puppies on their own page - navigated from the left hand menu.
In July 2009 Jig whelped a second litter by Sherdrew Echo Point. Bushwacker Ms Dynamite and Bushwacker Dizzee Rascal have stayed at home with their mum and half sister Ruby. Follow their progress on their own pages.
Bushwacker Missy Elliot will join them in the show ring in 2010. Follow her progress on the 2009 litter page.

Super bitch, has it all, so balanced, lovely head, good length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, good length of upper arm, super forechest, which allowed her to stand well over her front legs. Good strong body with depth and excellent ribbing. Strong well angulated hindquarters.
